What to expect

Massage & Head Spa

Body care and Japanese dry head spa

Two things happen here. Body care is hands-on work through the neck, shoulders and back — the ordinary massage most people are after. The dry head spa is a Japanese speciality you will not easily find back home.

The dry head spa is a head and scalp massage given with no water, no shampoo and no oil, so you stay dressed, your hair stays dry, and you can walk straight back out into your day. In a low-lit room we ease tension through the head, around the eyes and across the neck and shoulders. It is relaxation rather than medical or clinical treatment, and it suits anyone carrying screen fatigue, tired eyes or a stiff neck at the end of a long week. Head Spa is on the 3rd floor of First Building, 3-4 Wakamatsu-cho, Yokosuka.

Move

Personal Training & Pilates

CoconeRu. Move is a one-to-one personal training studio in a bright, friendly space, pairing machine (reformer) and mat pilates with hands-on conditioning to help you move and sit more comfortably.

Sessions are private and built around you, whether your goal is better posture, easing a stiff neck or shoulders, building a steady exercise habit, or working gradually toward a fitter, stronger body. Beginners and people returning to exercise after a long break are very welcome, and both men and women train here. There is no pressure to push hard, only to keep going at a pace that lasts. Move is on the 2nd floor of Yashima Building, 2-11 Otaki-cho, Yokosuka, and a first-visit trial session is available.
